A Concert for Candlemas
On Saturday 29th January 2011, we had an excellent turnout for our concert at St. Paul's Church,
Rusthall.
The concert was originally intended to be sung before Christmas but was postponed due to the heavy snow. However,
the programme was equally appropriate for candlemas and was comprised of music from Handel’s Messiah with sensitively
selected carols and readings.
The evening concert commemorated Michael Munro who was the driving force behind the formation
of Headway in Tunbridge Wells. The choir are delighted to assist with fund raising for a charity that supports people in
the local community. Please visit their website for further information.
